"A sound mind in a sound body!" – Health Day at Plyterra

It has become a tradition for Plyterra to organize Health Day for its employees at Umet stadium at the end of summer.

The event was held on Saturday so that anybody could participate in it.

The spirit of sportsmen was backed up during the Solemn opening ceremony of the competition. The manager of Department for Youth affairs and Sport of the Disctrict’s Administration Alexander Filkin, Head of Umet Administration Olga Drozdova and Head of Department for Occupational Safety, Civil Defense and Emergency Situations Evgeny Pivin welcomed the participants with inspiring speeches.

The biggest event of the day was football tournament. There were six teams participating. All who wish could try their forces in tug-of-war, weight lifting, push-ups, pull-ups, sack-racing, arm-wrestling and other sports. Representatives from every workshop and department of the plant have participated in the event. They came there with their families. Children participated in the big holiday organized by Neposedy group in a special animation zone. They interacted with characters from their favorite animated movies, actively participated in various contests and received sweet presents.

The day passed in the same breath. Everyone was so invigorated! During the awarding ceremony the General Director of Plyterra Sergey Nikonorov granted the winners of the competitions with diplomas and valuable prizes and wished success in sport and production to anyone.
