Igor Freidin, a member of the United Russia party and a candidate from the Republic of Mordovia to stand for elections for the State Duma, visited production site of Plyterra Group in Umet.

As part of the business trip, Igor Freidin visited the core enterprise Plyterra, JSC where more than eight hundred residents of the village Umet and the Zubovo-Polyansky district work. At the beginning, an introductory tour to manufacturing workshops of the enterprise took place. It was conducted by the CEO of the plywood mill, Sergey Nikonorov. The guest was shown the main workshops, modern equipment and products manufactured by the enterprise.

The meeting with workers was held at the new workshop. It started with an opening speech. The candidate for deputy talked about himself, his view on the role of a deputy, shared plans and elections program. Igor Freidin emphasized the importance of providing residents of the district with an adequate standard of living. Besides, he underlined priorities of social and economic development.

Everyone could ask questions. The majority of questions asked by voters were related to the housing and utility sector: carrying out repair of public lighting and public local roads, as well as providing medical services in Umet. The candidate for deputy Igor Freidin emphasized that the above-mentioned problems concern not only Umet, but also the Republic of Mordovia and its districts as a whole. He said that the problems must be solved comprehensively by drawing up programs to perform works.

The meeting of the candidate for deputy with voters was very productive. The employees of the enterprise, who took part in the meeting, received answers to the questions they were interested in. Igor Freidin took into consideration requests of residents and workers of Umet.
